For example, we went to the mall today with Rob's cousin, "Auntie Shan". While she was trying on clothes, I took Sydney out of her stroller to stretch her legs. When she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror (Sydney, not Shannon), she slowly broke out into a huge smile and giggled at herself! She looked away into the store for a minute or two, turned back to the mirror, and smiled & laughed at herself again; this repeated over and over until we left the store! I don't know if she realized that she was seeing herself, or if she just thought she was seeing some random cute little girl, but it was so funny! The store clerk came from around the corner to see what the squeaking noise was, and Shannon heard her from inside the fitting room too. Such a precious, fun memory...
Yesterday we spent time with Rob's family, and Syd and her cousin Annabelle spent more time getting to know one another better. It's neat to see them noticing each other now. They still don't interact a whole lot, but we know it's coming. More fun days are ahead- that's for sure!

More updates to come later this week- I promise! Our little girl has a birthday coming up!
